Vita Maria Home Accessorizing and Design is located in Charleston, South Carolina. Maria Crumley Schendzelos is the founder of Vita Maria. She saw the need for a design service focusing on accessorizing and putting the finishing touches on design. Maria has over 15 years of experience in this aspect of design. She has worked in both retail and private design firms. Maria is a graduate of the University Of Georgia Terry College Of Business with a major in Finance. She discovered that her true passion was design and has successfully followed this path.
Maria recognizes each client’s sense of style and personality. Her philosophy of design is that “nothing stands alone, so every detail is important.”
She communicates well with clients to achieve the look that they want. Whether working with an individual client or in collaboration with another designer, she is able to blend individual needs with a sense of style.
Recent projects include new construction homes, historic Charleston homes, remodeled and island homes.
Maria designed several spaces in the 2008 Charleston Symphony Orchestra Design House that will open to the public in March. She has been featured in Charleston Home magazine.
